Sundays 11:30 am – 12:20 pm
Thursdays 6:30 pm - 7:20 pm

Beginner Level

Learn the foundational movements of bellydance! This course will teach you what bellydance is and how to perform it with both Raks Sharki & Tribal stylization. This dance class includes mini-lectures on Middle Eastern rhythms and instrumentation, as well as bellydance history.

We recommend pairing this class with our "Bellydance Conditioning" class, for added support. Once you feel you have mastered the content in Stage 1, we recommend enrolling in Stage 2 Technique (alternatively, you may enroll in Stage 2 Combos, or both Stage 2 Technique & Stage 2 Combos). If you love the Tribal stylization, we welcome you to take Improvisational Tribal Style class, as well!

Sundays 12:30 pm - 1:20 pm

All Levels

Conditioning class is a way to regiment your personal bellydance practice, whether you are a beginner dancer or a seasoned performer. We combine conditioning exercises to strengthen technique with drill flows of the Rose Movement Studio basics. There are always extra layers to grab onto for more of a challenge (and workout), and the playlist is a fun mix of both modern and traditional tunes.

This is a great companion class to Bellydance Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, and ITS. All skill levels are welcome!
